Our Journey so far
The Nigerian Correctional Service Microfinance Bank Ltd is being sponsored by the management of Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS) ably headed by the then Controller General, Mr. Olusola Ogundipe. His tenure saw NCoS metamorphosed from the enclave into a pragmatic and dynamic organization. The task to establish the bank has been squarely placed within the ambit of the NCoS Multipurpose Cooperative Society (PRISCO), and the bank commenced operations in 2012.

From a cooperative to a bank
PRISCO has been in the forefront of providing welfare schemes for the entire members of NCoS staff since its inception. However, it has become obvious that its limited resources could no longer cope with the dynamic needs of the large staff strength of NCoS, hence the need to seek for a window that provides larger access to financial resources such as microfinance bank.
